Although there are already many offerings on the electric motorcycle market, it is safe to say that this range of the two-wheeled world is still in the early stages of its development. We have already seen revolutionary models pushing the limits of performance on road and track, such as the Zero, the Energica, and most recently, Ducati.
However, lightweight and high-torque two-wheel-drive electric models focused for off-roading are rare. Now, Trevor Motorcycles’ DTRe Stella joins a short list of electric offroad models in Europe.
The electric bike weighs 101 kg and has an 11 kW (14.3 hp) electric motor that delivers 260 Nm of torque. Powering this motor is a 2.7 kW/h battery that, according to the brand, has a range of 99.7 km on a single charge. One of the most interesting features is its charging time of just one hour.
To add, the new DTRe Stella, has a steel frame, with a front and rear suspension system from Öhlins. In the front, a fully adjustable inverted fork and a rear shock with the same level of adjustment.
