It is the year-long European gathering celebrating Harley-Davidson’s 120th anniversary. The Budapest event comes less than a month before the Homecoming anniversary event in the US in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which takes place July 13-16, 2023.
The Budapest event will not only be a celebration of 120 years of history, but also a glimpse into the future, with the latest Harley-Davidson motorbikes and Livewire electrics on display and available for test rides through the streets of Hungary’s capital for four days. At the press conference held on the banks of the Danube River, it was also announced that participants will have the chance to win an exclusive Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic 114 120th Anniversary Edition motorbike, worth €33,600.
The Festival will take place in the new Puskás Aréna Park – home of the Hungarian national football team – in and around the main stadium campus and on the wide boulevard in front of the stadium. Over the four action-packed days, Harley-Davidson and its event partners will host a wide variety of activities and entertainment, providing something for everyone, starting with an unrivalled line-up of artists including Airbourne, Larkin Poe, Deep Purple legend Glenn Hughes and internationally renowned artists Wolfmother and The Darkness. A wide variety of tickets are available, from VIP and four-day tickets to one-day tickets and offers for local audiences and families on Sunday. Fans will be treated to more than 50 bands performing across the venue’s six stages during the festival.
The Harley-Davidson 120th Anniversary Festival will also be an unforgettable celebration of all aspects of motorcycling culture – from a wide variety of riding opportunities, to spectacular motorbike shows – stunt shows, motocross freestyle (FMX), driving trials and even a motorbike globe! Impressive exhibits will feature H-D motorbikes from the past, present and future, truly showcasing 120 years of two-wheeled history.
The festival will also feature several large entertainment zones throughout Puskás Aréna Park, offering a wide variety of interactive entertainment, including an Adrenaline Park, a family park with activities for children of all ages, as well as an outdoor cinema showing films featuring Harley-Davidsons.
More than 80 food and drink options will be available, including a variety of cuisines from around the world, plus traditional Hungarian cuisine. There will also be 200 traders and a number of authorised Harley-Davidson dealers present. In addition to a Professional Custom Bike Show that will take place alongside the Harley-Davidson Expo. Owners will be invited to participate by registering their own custom bikes on Friday, June 23, at Puskas Arena Park. On Saturday, June 24, more than 7,000 participants are expected at the Harley-Davidson Parade.
