The National Organization for Vehicle Accessibility (NOVA) believes every individual has the right to personal mobility, with all aspects of society and the built infrastructure accessible, so all people can live fulfilling, active lives. A 501(c)(3) public charity, NOVA provides programs, products and services that enhance the lives of the more than 22 million Americans and others worldwide with mobility impairments and disabilities. As such, the organization is deeply involved in educating, communicating and advocating on behalf of universal mobility, accessibility, diversity and inclusion, which is why it is creating the Alliance for Adaptive Mobility & Accessibility (a2ma). Please be on the lookout for the new NOVA/A2MA website coming soon (a2maRiseAbove.org), with the “Rise Above” caption in remembrance of Ralph Braun, our founder.
NOVA’s Ralph Braun Grant Program provides vehicle accessibility and modification grants to qualified grant applicants throughout the United States and Canada in need of financial assistance. Please visit the Grant Program page for more information. Since its inception in 2010, the Ralph Braun Grant Program has provided more than $1,000,000 in grants and vehicle accessibility services to those in need. NOVA proudly supports ALL National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA) manufacturer mobility products sold by certified NMEDA mobility dealers.
