New Rochelle police arrested a man accused of firing four shots at several people from a moving car in the area of Horton Avenue and Brook Street last month.
Stephen Hugh, a 24-year-old Yonkers man, was arrested Saturday evening and charged second-degree attempted murder and awaits arraignment.
Police didn’t release any other information about if there was an intended target or the details surrounding the shooting, other than it happened around 9:55 p.m. on July 20 and no one was injured.
Five days earlier, a man was fatally shot and a second person was injured at the same intersection. Police didn’t say if there’s a connection between the two incidents.
The Westchester County District Attorney’s Office and the Yonkers Police Department assisted in this investigation, which is ongoing, police said.
